Description
Delicious Italian sausages baked with colorful bell peppers and onions, perfect served with rice or mashed potatoes.
Ingredients

- 1 pound Italian sausages (6 sausages)
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 1 green pepper
- 1 large white onion
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
- Slice the peppers and onions into ¼ inch slices. Cut the sausage into discs, and place them all on the prepared baking sheet.
- Drizzle the olive oil and sprinkle the seasonings on top and give them a good toss.
- Bake for 15 minutes, toss everything, and bake for another 10-15 minutes.
- Serve with white rice or mashed potatoes!
Notes
- This dish can also be served in a hoagie roll for a delicious sandwich.
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables to the mix.
