Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken:
- Rub the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet, let it rest for a few minutes, then slice it into strips.
- Cook the Pasta:
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain the pasta and set aside.
- Make the Creamy Sauce:
- In the same skillet used for the chicken, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Allow the sauce to thicken slightly, stirring occasionally.
- Combine the Ingredients:
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
- Top with sliced Cajun chicken.
- Garnish with chopped parsley.
- Serve:
- Serve hot, alongside garlic bread if desired.
