Cheesy Chicken Pasta Bake

Description

A deliciously cheesy chicken pasta bake that is easy to prepare and perfect for dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces angel hair pasta
  • 2 cups chopped, cooked chicken
  • 2 (10 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup Mexican cheese blend, divided use
  • 1 Tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1 cup Mexican cheese blend
  • dried parsley (for topping, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Cook 8 ounces angel hair pasta according to package directions. Once pasta is cooked, drain well.
  3. Place pasta back into the pot and add 2 cups chopped, cooked chicken, 2 (10 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup, 1 cup salsa, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1 cup Mexican cheese blend, divided use and 1 Tablespoon taco seasoning. Stir well to combine.
  4. Pour combined mixture into your prepared baking dish.
  5. Top with 1 cup Mexican cheese blend.
  6. Cover with nonstick aluminum foil.
  7. Cook in the oven for about 25 minutes, until hot and bubbly. Optional: sprinkle with dried parsley before serving.

Notes

  • This dish can be made ahead of time and refrigerated until ready to bake.
  • For a spicier version, use a spicy salsa.
