Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 6 oz smoked sausage, sliced
- ½ cup diced onion
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes with green chiles
- 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
- 2 cups beef broth
- 8 oz dry spaghetti
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives or parsley (optional)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Optional: red pepper flakes for extra kick
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef and sausage in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onions and garlic, cooking until fragrant.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and beef broth.
- Break spaghetti in half and add to the pot. Simmer until pasta is tender.
- Sprinkle cheese on top and let it melt. Garnish with chives or parsley.
