Description

These crispy air fryer chicken wings are delicious and easy to make, perfect for any gathering or game day!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 large chicken wings
  • olive oil spray
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 3/4 tbsp paprika
  • 3/4 tbsp cayenne pepper (for medium heat, less if you want them mild)

Instructions

  1. Close air crisp lid and preheat Foodi to 400 degrees.
  2. Pat wings dry with paper towels.
  3. In batches of 6-8 pieces (depending on size of wings, enough where they don’t overlap inside the air fryer basket), spray batch with olive oil spray and rub on all sides.
  4. In a bowl mix all dry rub ingredients and pour half inside a freezer bag, add olive oil coated wings into bag and shake so they’re well coated.
  5. Place wings inside air fryer basket without overlapping them.
  6. Air fry for 8 minutes, then flip to other side and continue cooking at 400 degrees for another 8 minutes or until they’re as crispy as you’d like.
  7. To make even crispier, lightly spray top again with olive oil spray and continue cooking a few more minutes.

Notes

  • For best results, ensure wings are dry before applying the rub.
  • Adjust cayenne pepper according to desired heat level.
