A delicious and crunchy peanut brittle recipe that is easy to make and perfect for snacking.
Ingredients

- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 cup roasted (salted peanuts)
- 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, water, and salt.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture begins to boil.
- Add the peanuts, and a candy thermometer, and continue to boil at a gentle boil, until the temperature reaches 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Stir in the butter and baking soda.
- Pour the mixture onto the parchment lined sheet and carefully smooth into a thin layer.
- Allow the brittle to cool and harden.
- Use a rubber mallet to break the brittle into pieces.
Notes
- This brittle can be stored in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
- Be cautious when handling hot sugar as it can cause burns.
