Description

Delicious deviled eggs enhanced with truffle oil and fresh chives.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp truffle oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs: Place eggs in a saucepan, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and cover for 12-14 minutes.
  2. Cool the eggs: Transfer eggs to an ice bath for at least 5 minutes before peeling.
  3. Prepare the filling: Peel the eggs under running water, cut them in half lengthwise, and place yolks in a mixing bowl. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, truffle oil, salt, and pepper; mix until creamy.
  4. Pipe the mixture: Fill a piping bag (or zip-top bag) with the yolk mixture and pipe it back into each egg white.
  5. Garnish: Sprinkle chopped chives on top and serve immediately or refrigerate until ready.
