Description
A delicious and easy honey mustard chicken recipe made in the Instant Pot.
Ingredients

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp whole grain mustard (optional)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- ½ cup chicken broth
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- Set Instant Pot to sauté mode and heat olive oil. Sear chicken for 2–3 minutes per side until lightly golden. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix honey, Dijon mustard, and whole grain mustard.
- Pour chicken broth into the pot and scrape up any browned bits. Add honey mustard mixture and stir.
- Place chicken back into the pot, coating with sauce.
- Seal the lid and cook on high pressure for 10 minutes. Allow natural release for 5 minutes, then quick release remaining pressure.
- Serve chicken with sauce spooned over top, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
- Chicken must reach an internal temperature of 165°F for safety.
- Adjust mustard levels to taste if desired.
