- 3 cups whipped cream
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- a few drops green food coloring
- a few drops purple food coloring
- 1 cup candy corn
- 1 cup assorted Halloween candies
- for decoration sprinkles
Instructions
- Prepare the Cream Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add confectioners’ sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully blended. Gently fold in whipped cream.
- Color the Cream: Divide the cream mixture equally into two bowls. Add green food coloring to one bowl and purple food coloring to the other, mixing until the desired color is reached.
- Layer the Trifle: In a large glass trifle bowl, start by layering half of the crushed Oreos at the bottom. Spread the green cream mixture evenly on top of the Oreos. Add a generous layer of candy corn over the green cream. Layer the remaining crushed Oreos on top of the candy corn. Spread the purple cream mixture evenly over the Oreos. Top with assorted Halloween candies and sprinkles.
- Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
