Description

Delicious shrimp and broccoli stir-fry prepared with garlic, ginger, and soy sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Prepare ingredients by chopping broccoli into bite-sized florets, mincing garlic, and grating ginger.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink (about 2 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add broccoli and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Mix soy sauce and cornstarch mixture; pour over broccoli and stir to coat.
  6. Return shrimp to the skillet, toss everything together for another minute until heated through. Serve over rice or noodles.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
  • Serve with cooked rice or noodles for a complete meal.
