Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips, melted
  • Crushed pistachios for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and the egg. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
  7. In a bowl, combine pistachio paste, melted white chocolate, heavy cream, and vanilla extract. Mix until fully incorporated and smooth.
  8. Spread the pistachio mixture evenly over the cooled chocolate cake layer.
  9. Melt dark chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
  10. Pour the melted chocolate over the pistachio layer.
  11. Sprinkle crushed pistachios on top for garnish.
  12. Refrigerate the cake for at least 1 hour to set the layers.
  13. Slice and serve.
