Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and the egg. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
- In a bowl, combine pistachio paste, melted white chocolate, heavy cream, and vanilla extract. Mix until fully incorporated and smooth.
- Spread the pistachio mixture evenly over the cooled chocolate cake layer.
- Melt dark chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the pistachio layer.
- Sprinkle crushed pistachios on top for garnish.
- Refrigerate the cake for at least 1 hour to set the layers.
- Slice and serve.
