Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan.
- Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Combine Ingredients: Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fill and Bake: Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each mold about 3/4 full. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until donuts are light golden brown and cooked through. Allow donuts to cool slightly before removing from the pan.
- Cinnamon Sugar Coating: In a shallow dish, mix together sugar and cinnamon for coating. While the donuts are still warm, gently dip them in the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat.
- Frosting: In a bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and salt. Beat until smooth and fluffy. Pipe or spread the frosting over the cooled donuts.
