Description
A delicious and easy recipe featuring smoked sausage, Hawaiian rolls, and melted cheese.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package Hawaiian Rolls
- 2 (13 oz.) packages Smoked Sausage
- 2 cups Chilli Dog Sauce
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- ½ of a Red Onion, Chopped
- Mustard (to taste)
- 1 tablespoon Melted Butter
- Dried chives (for topping)
Instructions
- Start by slicing your rolls in half, long ways, so you have a top and bottom. Set down in a greased casserole dish.
- Brown up your smoked sausage. Cut it long ways and then in two-inch slices.
- Lay your browned sausage on top of the bottom half of your rolls, flat side up, covering everything.
- Top with your chili sauce, shredded cheese, and diced onion. Drizzle with mustard, as much as your little heart desires.
- Top with the top half of your rolls and brush on your melted butter.
- Bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the rolls are golden.
- Top with dried chives, slice them up, serve, and enjoy!
Notes
- This dish is perfect for parties and gatherings.
- Feel free to add more toppings like jalapeños or bell peppers for extra flavor.
