Description

A delicious and easy recipe featuring smoked sausage, Hawaiian rolls, and melted cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Hawaiian Rolls
  • 2 (13 oz.) packages Smoked Sausage
  • 2 cups Chilli Dog Sauce
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • ½ of a Red Onion, Chopped
  • Mustard (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon Melted Butter
  • Dried chives (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Start by slicing your rolls in half, long ways, so you have a top and bottom. Set down in a greased casserole dish.
  2. Brown up your smoked sausage. Cut it long ways and then in two-inch slices.
  3. Lay your browned sausage on top of the bottom half of your rolls, flat side up, covering everything.
  4. Top with your chili sauce, shredded cheese, and diced onion. Drizzle with mustard, as much as your little heart desires.
  5. Top with the top half of your rolls and brush on your melted butter.
  6. Bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the rolls are golden.
  7. Top with dried chives, slice them up, serve, and enjoy!
