- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions
- Cook the Rice: Cook the rice according to package directions. Set aside.
- Prepare Broccoli: Steam the broccoli until just tender. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté Vegetables: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sautéing until soft and translucent.

- Assemble Casserole: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the rice mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Add Toppings: Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the top, followed by the breadcrumbs.
- Bake: Place the casserole in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the top is golden brown.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from oven and let stand for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
