  • 0 cup caramel sauce
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch springform pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, melted butter, egg, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix until a thick dough forms. Press evenly into the pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla and melted butter.
  4. Gradually beat in powdered sugar, then stir in diced apples, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
  5. Pour filling over the crust layer and smooth out evenly.
  6. Bake for 45–50 minutes. The edges should be set, and the center slightly jiggly. Do not overbake.
  7. Let the cake cool completely in the pan on a wire rack. Remove the ring and drizzle caramel sauce on top. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
